Necklace for girls on their Confirmation or First Communion. The Lady of Lourdes medal is 7mm and set on durable cord with goldfill and natural nacre tube beads.
This necklace is inspired by antique Rosaries which were beaded with tiny freshwater or mother of pearl beads. It is a delicate piece of jewelry specially thought of for girls for Catholic religious celebrations. We believe that a little medal in 18k gold is a lifetime treasure for a girl. It is both more discrete and easier to wear during different stages of life than a larger medal. The tiny Lady of Lourdes medal is made in Spain and cast from an old mould.
The length can be adjusted by moving the knot on each end. The knots give it a little modern touch and help the cord to last longer. The clasp is goldfill.
We designed it to be comfortable enough for day-to-day wear and on the day of Confirmation or First Communion. It's a memorable gift for a god-daughter, a niece, a granddaughter or any friend or family member for any Catholic celebration.
